Recent long-term samples include MAD 1,050 in Daoudiat, MAD 1,200 in Issil and MAD 2,000 around Hay Mabrouka and Route de l’Ourika. Much higher Guéliz and premium products require separate classification.
Do not feed nightly or weekly tourist inventory into long-term room statistics.

Marrakech can be walkable in central areas, but longer trips depend on buses and taxis. Official live ALSA fare data should be checked before displaying a number; if it cannot be confirmed, provide route guidance without a stale fare.

For qualifying residential leases, the Morocco Law 67-12 framework provides a two-month security-deposit ceiling, a return framework after key handover and a written landlord-agreement rule for subletting or assignment.

Furnished rooms, heat and utilities
Verify AC, electricity, internet, furniture, cleaning, minimum stay and notice. A cheap summer room with expensive or unmetered cooling can be poor value.
