Keep shared beds and PG service bundles separate from private-room planning. Ask for food, maintenance, electricity, AC and deposit as separate amounts.

Hyderabad Metro fares are distance-based and the operator maintains the current fare calculator. A May 2025 revision and later promotions mean an old min/max should not be treated as evergreen.

Use the exact home-to-work or campus route, including first/last-mile transport, instead of a generic citywide commute number.

Keep Telangana deposit guidance contract-specific

Do not state that Hyderabad security deposit is legally capped at a universal number. The reviewed Telangana framework does not provide a clean universal cap for every PG or room arrangement, and Model Tenancy Act limits should not be applied automatically.

Write security, advance rent, maintenance, food, electricity, notice, lock-in and refund timing into the agreement.

Power, water and AC are part of the price

Ask about backup generator or inverter, electricity limit, AC room versus non-AC, water, meals, housekeeping and laundry. In managed western-corridor housing these service differences can justify several thousand rupees per month.

Confirm the actual allocated room and minimum-stay terms before paying.

A polished PG listing is not proof that the allocated room, operator or total cost matches the advertisement.
