Three-month ceiling and room notice
Covered rental security is generally limited to three months’ rent, with account and interest treatment that should be preserved in the implementation. Three months is a ceiling for the relevant structure, not a standard request.
Current official guidance gives three months’ notice for an open-ended single-room agreement; fixed-term agreements differ. Keep security form, account, claim date and refund date separate.
