Transmetro is not every city bus
Current Transmetro information lists Q1 for regular or paradas continuas service and Q2 for direct or express service, with electronic card payment.
Do not imply Q1 covers every Guatemala City bus. Check the actual system, corridor, walk and peak traffic.
Deposit as market practice, not a cap
Current Civil Code material reviewed does not support a simple universal statutory security-deposit maximum. One month’s rent is a common market reference, but it is not a verified legal ceiling.
Require a written agreement covering deposit amount, refund, rent, utilities, parking, minimum term and owner or agent authority.
Included services and minimum stays
Room listings may include water, electricity, internet, trash, shared kitchen and sometimes parking. These inclusions materially change value, so verify every bill and the minimum term.
Guatemala City rental and payment risks
A zone label without an exact route is not enough to compare rooms.
