HSL’s 2026 adult fares include a 30-day AB one-off season ticket at €73.90 and a saver subscription at €61.60. When comparing Helsinki, Espoo and Vantaa, use the actual zones and route rather than municipal boundaries alone.
Deposit and prepaid rent are different
Finnish consumer guidance says security deposits are commonly one to three months’ rent, with a three-month ceiling for qualifying residential security. Prepaid rent is separate: it must be agreed when the lease is made, requires a special reason and may cover at most three months.
Fixed-term leases can be difficult or impossible to terminate early except in limited circumstances, so confirm term and termination rights before signing.
