RIT corridors and public fares

Curitiba officially kept the public passenger bus fare at R$6.00 throughout 2026. The Domingão paga Meia program can reduce qualifying Sunday and holiday trips to R$3.00.

Do not confuse the public fare with the technical system tariff in URBS cost documents. Identify the nearest RIT corridor or terminal, check integration and test peak-hour travel.

Brazilian cash caução and room qualification

For qualifying Brazilian residential tenancies, cash caução may not exceed three months’ rent under the Lei do Inquilinato. Cash security is not the only possible guarantee, and room, sublet or lodging arrangements require classification.

Get deposit, refund, utilities and term in writing.

Bundled bills and minimum stays

Central furnished rooms may include Wi-Fi, water, electricity, IPTU, condominium and cleaning, while ordinary flatshares may charge these separately. Verify furniture, bills, cleaning and the minimum term before comparing prices.
